When you change nameservers or DNS records, the update has to spread across internet providers worldwide. This is called DNS propagation.
- Most changes work within 1 to 4 hours.
- Some providers can take up to 24 to 48 hours.
- During this time some visitors may still see your old website while others see the new one. This is normal.
Tips while you wait
- Clear your browser cache or try a private/incognito window.
- Try on mobile data instead of Wi-Fi to use a different DNS provider.
- Keep your old hosting active until the new site shows for everyone.
